How to Earn Patches and Prizes
When Scouts complete the Science Behind the Sport activities, they earn a WVU patch. They must collect all 5 to earn the WVU National Scout Jamboree center patch.
How to Win Big
Scouts must engage with WVU students and staff at each Science Behind the Sport program area to earn the patch set. Scouts will get a Science Behind the Sport punch card, when all five activities are completed and marked off, scouts can take their punch card to the WVU Action Point tent to collect the entire patch set. Limited to the first 1,500 scouts who are under the age of 21.
Scouts 21 years old and younger who complete the Science Behind the Sport program earn this patch set and can enter to win a custom 2026 Jamboree Skateboard Deck two drawings daily.
Scouts who complete the WVU Science Behind the Sport program get access to the WVU VIP area in the big tent at Action Point.
While visiting the WVU Action Point tent, they can also enter the free raffle to win some really awesome WVU prizes!
