2023 National Scout Jamboree
WVU’s Science Behind the Sport is seeking student volunteers to teach fun, hands-on STEM lessons connected to adventure sports at the 2023 National Scout Jamboree (July 19 - 28). You don’t need to be an expert at adventure sports or STEM; we’ll teach you everything you need to know. The Jamboree is an excellent opportunity to showcase WVU and help recruit the next generation of Mountaineers!
Program Areas
This Jamboree, our team will teach the science behind seven different activities:
- Mountain Biking
- Rock Climbing
- Paddling
- Archery
- BMX
- Skateboarding
